Endoscopy

At Veterinum Ulcinj Veterinary Clinic, endoscopy is a minimally invasive diagnostic procedure that allows our veterinary team to examine the inside of organs, body cavities, and passages without the need for invasive exploratory surgery. Using a specialized endoscope equipped with an optical system, veterinarians can obtain a clear view of internal structures while minimizing trauma to the patient.

Endoscopy can be used for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. In addition to examining the affected area, the procedure allows certain surgical interventions to be performed through very small openings, making it a valuable part of modern minimally invasive veterinary medicine.

Although the procedure itself is relatively quick and gentle, it is performed under general anesthesia to ensure the safety and comfort of the patient. For this reason, a pre-operative examination and basic blood tests are required before the procedure. The patient should also be kept fasting for an appropriate period before the intervention, with specific instructions provided by our veterinary team.

At Veterinum Ulcinj, endoscopic procedures rely on advanced technology and the expertise of our trained veterinary team. By combining modern equipment with careful patient assessment, we aim to provide accurate diagnosis, minimally invasive treatment, and a faster, more comfortable recovery for your pet.
